Indeed, the artist won several watercolor prizes, such as that of the Royal Academy of San Quirce, which earned him permanent exhibitions in the Quintanar Palace and in the Alcazar Museum of Segovia.
Thus, the artist painted several series of watercolors depicted to his traditional deformed characters, women with separate eyes, chimeras, or monuments. It is an art that he has practiced since he was a child, and which he perfected especially by copying monuments and landscapes of Granada where he grew up, such as the Alhambra or the Charles 5th's Palace.
