VACANT LOT

Imagen JPEG 195.jpeg

The painter from Granada proposes a new experiment. Under the title Vacant Lot published by the editorial The Klein Press, book of illustrations that Juan Palomares brings us to sex without sex, to homosexual scenes, that could be censored on social networks and that, however, there is nothing reprehensible about it, as the artist himself explains in an interview.Because "it is explicit for the one who knows the image but it is not explicit because it is an image of sex without sex".

A book in which black and white drawings show that sex without sex, between men. Supposed blowjobs that, as the book's title reflects, can be translated as an empty space. A white space, provocative, conclusive and with that touch of mystery and curiosity that makes the work of this artist, once again, an authentic masterpiece on canvas.

"Writing about Juan Palomares is as easy as it is difficult. Stendhal said that 'beauty is a promise for the future', and Juan Palomares always keeps his promises. If the work should be the only defense of the artist, with his art, he lives in an filled world" in the words of Rubén Tejerina.
